Joshua J. Gleason an alumnus of the New York Theta Chapter of Phi Kappa Psi genersouly presents an annual award to a deserving chapter memember for outstanding leadership. The award pays for the transportation costs of the honoree to attend the Cabo Alpha Leadership Academy in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico durring spring break. Each year, Brother Gleason works with the chapter's scholarship committee to identify an new winner. The only award is granted to a brother who shows promise as a leader, focuses on academic work, and has not yet attended the Cabo Alpha Leadership Academy. Cabo Alpha, the brain child of UCLA Phi Psi alumnus Jerry Nelson hosts Phi Psis from all over the country each year. During their spring break members of different chapters travel to Cabo Alpha where Jerry and other successful Phi Psi alumni give a crash course in leadership, personal responsibility, life lessons and what it means to be a Phi Psi.
